THE GIG:
 
We are partnered with a Nationwide Frame and Truss business with multiple opportunities across their different branches in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Palmerston North. They have a number of fulltime Hammer hand roles available, with immediate start dates available!

These roles offer variety with all successful applicants being trained in multiple facets of Frame and Truss production. You don't need previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, but previous hammer hand/carpentry experience is required. - you will have experience operating hand and power tools, be confident with maths and measurements, able to read and understand plans and drawings whilst also being physically fit and able to assist with the movement of timber and related products at times.

You'll be working in a busy indoor factory on a production line building time Frame and Truss with a friendly hard working team. You will be following plans and drawings to build timber Frame & Truss to specification. This can involve anything from stacking timber, using automated drop and bench saws, measuring and marking wood, operating nail guns and hand and power tools.

Work is Monday to Friday with overtime often available on the weekend. This is a fast paced, busy environment, so physical fitness and awareness of health and safety is an absolute must! if you are fit, have reliable transport and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
 
THE GOODS:

• Excellent starting rate $26ph - $32ph depending on experience

• Monday to Friday 5am-3pm

• Ongoing, permanent work - 30 hours minimum, guaranteed per week

• NZQA Training on offer

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:

• Be physically fit with the capability of heavy lifting

• Previous experience in building or construction

• Confident with using hand and power tools

• Are able to follow instructions and read plans

• Keen to learn and get stuck in

• Team player, positive and flexible attitude

• Health and Safety conscious

• Will pass a drug screen
